Shouldn't they at least have a few pictures of the guns that are produced? :)
I like their new models better than the Asian/American before. She was alright, but a little too thin for me. These new women are more to my liking.
The pictures of the Kahr pistols were in there somewhere.

I like it. I admire attractive women, but I honestly have to wonder what demographic Kahr is really shooting for.
If you look at the average member on this forum and these are only my observations:
Males 40-65 years old (sorry ladies but you really are the minority)
Established in career or comfortably retired (=above avg $$)
Long time gun enthusiast with years of experience.
Knows the difference between junk & quality
Well read, well spoken, decent writers.
Yeah eye candy is a draw but I honestly think there should more emphasis on the manufacturing process, the philosophy toward quality, photos of the facility, test firing, R&D, etc. might be more on target.
Of course, I am sure they had a market analyst study to see what would be most effective and my theory is all bunk. But that's my story and I am sticking to it.

So what are you saying... you'd rather see a dumpy, balding, retired plumber holding the merchandise? That's more my demographic, but I don't want to be reminded or have to look at it. :D
By the way, the new brochure looks fine, IMHO. I liked the cut-away and the charts... lots of good info. I've never seen a Kahr sales brochure before so I have nothing to compare to.
Hot chicks and guns are cool. That is all.
Seriously though, I'm 34, have a career, don't have tons of extra money, I work hard to pay for quality and I love Kahrs. I think they are shooting for the patriot in all of us, young and old. American pride

IMHO, they should have sprung for more models. Though they tried to change her look alot, they are all the same woman.

Definitely the hottest chicks in the gun world.
Oh, the rest of the brochure is ok too.
I think it's a great catalog except for the porn chick. Kahr really needs to get past this.....or a least throw in a hot stud in a thong for Melissa to look at.

I thought that was my purpose in life. If it helps I can send you some of my photo's just like I do for her. Pay ain't great but it's enough for a new thong now and then.
I should have been wearing one when Tinman got that pic of me under the sink.
Dammit.

It must have been COLD on page 8.
Includes all the facts/specs you need to know about their handgun line. Many companies use models for advertising. It seems to work.

Her guns, take away from the Kahr Guns.
Should've had her in a military dress uniforms if you want to salute vets.

Right and all those pinup gals on bomber noses? They should have all been in full dress uniform as well eh?
As someone pointed out, SEX sells, always has, always will. The sports illustrated swimsuit edition is their best selling issue. It sure aint due to their "sports" coverage. Unless you happen to believe that SEX is a full contact sport...

It's feeling kinda warm here now after that brochure. :target:
Im all for ANY beautiful woman as a model, even better if she has a gun too.
And for balance they can have a brochure for the ladies too, although I'll pass on that one. :)

I call "airbrush' fake on the cheek blemish....
May be wrong... but callin it as I see it...
They could have used a model with fewer scars on her knees.

I pretty much fit the market you describe, and those beauties do manage to get me to turn those pages.
Of course, before I buy, I would worry about all those other things you mention.
But there's nothing wrong with at least starting the whole buying process in the right spirit-- and both models (Asian and current) do that for me!

I agree with Tinman that I could have done without the spokesmodel in the brochure. But, I'm sure we all want the Kahr Arms company to be a commercial success. Therefore, we can't have their product brochure cater to our preferences. We're already Kahr customers. The company is trying to compete with other firearm companies and attract new customers.

I see what you did there... sneaky sneaky.. I LIKE!!!
I asked my wife to look at the brochure. She said I don't see no guns, where are the guns? Then she said that gal would have a diffcult time hiding a gun in that outfit... I simply pointed out the mistake she had made and explained to her that that was an illustration of the "hiding in plain sight" theory of camoflauge. She then said well that seems to work just fine.

The garter holster is the answer to hiding in plain sight, but she is wearing it wrong - the gun should be on the inward side of her thigh.
Oh, what knees? I don't see anything wrong with them when I retrain my focus on them. :2eek:

The garter holster is not in plain sight sir. On the contrary it is SUPPOSED to be UNDER the dress when worn properly.
However that gal in the bathing suit with the handgun in her hand is showing the hiding in plain sight theory of camoflauge. You dress up something else to catch the eyes and let the gun be right out in the open for all to see. It aint going to remain hidden for long BUT the idea is for it to remain hidden just long enough that the person doing the "gun" hiding gets to shoot firstest.

I know of a gal in video gaming. She played one of those games where you could provide the skin for your character. Anyhooo she used a skin that had 44d breasts and when she stepped into a room the guys would stop shooting at her and look at the boobs. She shot em dead and then went to the next room. The tactic was rather effective until she ran into another gal so her KDR was way up the scale.

Well done! The only thing they could have done better, is choose some girls from multicultural backrounds, since this country is made of immigrants. I'd like to see a black girl:rolleyes: , Latinas:), Asian:) and a native squaw!!!!:p

I imagine they couldn't afford that many models for one brochure. BUT OH BABY, I agree totally.
They have sent me two 14th Editions this year. I received one this week. Have not seen the 15th Edition yet
