View Full Version : Cm9 break in
Took my CM9 to the range at oakwell armory in SE Georgia yesterday. Shot about 200 rounds of CCI, hornady, federal and some Winchester. Only had one FTF. Every other round was perfect.
Grip was very important in making it a comfortable shooting experience. If I folded my pinky in tight it was ok, anything else was uncomfortable.
Plus I finally got to shoot my arsenal SGL31 with my vortex Strikefire. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive red dot, that is a good choice. It mad a big difference for me.

Good to hear another of many good range reports with the CM9.
The CM9 is perfect for me because my hands are crippled and my little finger stays folded all the time. With that short grip, it just folds up under the magazine and I forget about it. (With a longer grip, I have to use my weak hand to open and place that finger on the grip. Otherwise, just the tip of it is touching the grip.) That was the case with the CW9 that I used to own, but otherwise loved. I had not paid much attention to the PM9 because the price was out of my reach. But when I found out about the CM9, I looked closer and realized what an advantage that two finger grip would be. And, let me tell you, I couldn't be more pleased with my CC companion! :D

Thank you all for the great info on the cm9. I researched my 1st handgun purchase for a very long time. I bought the cm9 and wow. What a great gun. I did the pre shooting steps (clean, grease, oil, rack slide 500+times). Took to range today and shot bout 50 winchester 115g and 50 remington 115g. No errors. Worked perfectly! Love this gun. Very easy to shoot and tight patterns. Perfect IMO. If you are like me and looking for a great ccw, this is it.

Great to hear another good CM9 report. I'm about 400 rounds into mine, mix of FMJ and SD ammo, and have yet to experience any problems. It's run like a champ with anything I've put thru it.
