Do you have FTF issues with the seven (7) round extended mag? Please vote keeping in mind the two styles polymer of bottom plates.

Dang! I had problems with the original 7-round extended mags nose diving. I got the Wolff +10% mag springs and am not sure that really took care of the "problem." I do use a LOT of the 8-round, extended grip mags(K920G) because they have been flawless in operation... K9 or PM9. Those are the ones in the K9 for home defense and for spares in CCW. I like to carry as a spare the largest capacity Kahr mag available, especially the 9mm 8-round extended grip mags.

You can never have TOO MUCH ammo!

I think u meant wolffs 5% more powerful mag springs as they don't offer to my knowledge 10% more for the kahrs and I know not why either.

I have two 6 rnd mags for the CM9 and the two 7 rnd mags for my CW9. Although I have tried all four mags in my new CM9, I don't have enough rounds through it yet to add to a statistical poll.

So far, with less than a hundred rounds, no problems with any of the mags.

Have you seen the after-market 10 round 9mm mags? They got mixed reviews but if you like quantity there you go.

I'm not sure I know the difference between the new and old style ext mags. Maybe someone could explain the difference ... or better post a pic.

I would be interested to know how well these work in a PM/CM9.

old style looks like half othe polymer is gone and par tof the stainless magazine is exposed. New style covers all of the bottom extenstion and should give a more exact feel..

+1 Wynn...the 8 rounders are great for the range. Never had any kind of problem with them.

My CW40 will shoot fine all day from the 7 round mags, but my CW45 will not shoot more than 1 shot without hanging up on the 7 rounders. I can't see any differnce in how the mags feed into the chamber, so not sure what's goin on. Ian wants me to send it and the 7 round mags in. I have 2 with the extended base and 1 with the short base for the TP-45 that takes the 7 round mag. None of them will feed worth a damn.

I guess mine are old style, than. I've never had a problem with either one of them (7 rounders, PM9 and MK9).

My 7-round mag loads fine if I use the slide release lever and I haven't had a mis-feed.

I would presume my 7 rd. mag that came with my PM9 with a DOB of 6/22/2011 is the old style. ???
I know as soon as I state this, it will give me problems but, I have used it quite a lot as a range mag with 0 problems. It is the mag that I have in the console of my vehicle as a back up mag.
I removed the ugly plastic bottom and put a flush SS base plate on it.
