Short n Sweet!
Put 150 rounds through the cm9 without a single problem!
I will say to all those with a new gun, or one on the way... FOLLOW THE PREP AND LUBE GUIDE! I did as it said, and things went great! Now the only problem is what to get for it next... grips, holster, sights... o the choices! :D

I followed the prep and lube guide and had all aprts of problems. I would say your gun fired flawlessly due to it being manufactured properly and nothing to do with prep or lubing.

ur probalby right but again we will never know either. Either way it certanly didnt screw his gun up or hinder anything and he also got a much better knowledge of the gun prior to that first bang thing. In ur case if indeed something is wrong with the gun, no prep can help it and it proballby needs to go back to kahr:confused:

as u well know the prep guide is just that " A GUIDE". one can choose to ignore it and take the gun out of the box and just shoot it and 98% will go bang, but we have had someout of the box with the magazine springs ni backwards and this will not work properly so any little thing that one can catch before packing up and driving to a range and have a first shoot that turns bad has to be a positive. IMO what the prepp thing and the lube chart does is give you the shooter a real close up look at his gun before that FIRST BANG THING happens. A shooter and a gun have to mate up to be reliable.
The lube chart is awesome. The prep chart was put together by jocko but most of the information in there has come from the great forum members here who have contributed to that post being viewed by over 37K readers.
It is always nice to have that first range session out of the way to, now u can settle down with confidence in the gun and work on accuracy and drills and defense ammo and oh yes holsters.
Nice post.

I have a PM45, and I LOVE it. It's my favorite CCW pistol.
