Anyone see it recently. Since Houston's death they aired it. It was crazy how Costner muzzles people while holding his gun throughout the movie. The worst was when they were at his dad's cabin hiding out and he is talkng to the the main character's sister, loads his .45 then literally sticks it in her face and says "Dont move" just before he searches for the BG.

He beat's the crap out of a harmless cook for no reason and just walks away. "Sorry" he mumbles. Suspension of disbelief is always a necessity for Kevin (get another close-up of my face) Cosner.

Houston does sing the heck out of Dolly Parton's song though.

Dang I missed it. I figured they would play it and have been kind of watching for it. I liked the movie. I'm sure it will get played again, probably have a Whitney Houston marathon. I'm ok with that.

That's a terrific song that Dolly, Whitney, and few others could really sing. I still have Whitney's first two albums and the Bodyguard Soundtrack. I can remember the first time I heard Whitney's singing... 1984 in a BX... Ramstein or Zweibrücken Air Base in Germany (West, then). I didn't know who it was, but I checked it out and bought the CD, as well as her second one shortly thereafter. Compact Disc was just getting going and I traveled all over Europe looking for certain ones highlighted by Audio Magazine... found about a dozen in Bern, Switzerland... a motherload!... all classical.

She was a classy lady and had one of the best voices ever... until her unfortunate association with Bobby Brown. R.I.P.

Hey Bobby Brown didnt put a gun to her head and say do these drugs or else. She was a big girl. There was probably a lot of music left in her that we will never know. Too bad.
