My nephew, Chris, and I finally got to shoot his new CM9, yesterday. The first shot fired and then click. Failure to feed. I'm thinkin' that this is going to be a long day. I believe that the mag. was not inserted all the way. It then proceeded to shoot 200 rounds of WWB, without a hitch. Awesome!!
We ran 25 rounds of Win. Ranger +P next. The extra recoil was throwing his thumb up into the slide stop, making the slide lock open. We worked on his grip, and fixed that problem..He is totally in love with this pistol. It is unbelievably accurate, has a wonderful trigger, and he shoots it well.
We went through all the "break-in" proceedures and I am convinced that it is time well spent. I learned this with my PM9. (Tutored by Jocko)..
Another success story for the CM9.

That's cool that you figured it out. I wonder what percentage of CS calls to gun manufacturers are a result of pilot error?

That's very cool, Mike! The CM9 is, IMO, the very best CC SD gun on the market at anywhere near the price. For those who want a 3 finger grip and one more bullet, the CW9 fills the bill. Of course, the P9 and PM9 offer more options for finish and sights in essentially the same great guns. We have the 40s for those who like that hot police round. For those wanting to make bigger holes, we have the 45s, with the CW45 being a fantastic best buy at < $350 currently. The P380 seems to be getting well from a bout of the gun flu, and like the other older models, will soon take it's place as Kahr's elegant answer for pocket carry. Truly a superb line of guns! :D

Sounds like my experience as well. Mine has been flawless through 219 rounds.
