Finally got my brand new Kahr PM9 last week from grabagun.com and got to break her in with 250 rounds of Winchester 124 GR 9mm NATO. I must admit it took a while for me to get use the the very heavy and long trigger, I was doing all sorts of mistakes like jerking/slapping the trigger, too little trigger finger, breaking wrist down, recoil anticipation you name it I did it

Now my primary EDC, Ruger SR9c feels like it has a feather trigger, breaking right at the middle as compared to all the way back to the frame on the Kahr PM9. This will take sometime to get use to...

After about 50 rounds I'm got the hang of it Here's my progress at 10 yards.

Here's what the inside of the slide looks like after 250 rounds.

Thanks to this forum I was able to clean the inside and apply a thin coat of ballistol in no time flat!

Larrry Wolf, from Wolf Concealment Systems made a custom low profile OWB TAN/BLACK holster for me that hides very well and very confortable to boot. I'm 5' 8"@155 lbs this will be my suimmer carry!

Oh yeah, after 250 rounds I got 3 nose dives on the 7 round magazine, called Kahr and they will send a new base plate..

nice post, u will adapt to the kahr trigger system it is looooong by design but I can assur u it is smoother than that ruger trigger aqnd it will even get smoother with more rounds out of it. U can if u think thaqt trigge rpull is to stouch which from factory is around 7-=7.5#, just order from wolffs the 5# striker and that willhelp u alot but stillnot change the trigger travel of 3/8". It is as safe as u can get. My Pm9 is so smooth it is scary. Ihave had the 5# striker spring in it since round 10 and now it has over 32K in it. I don't consider it light or hairy at all as the travel is still the same but I do like it alot. Ihave it also in my K9 to.

nice post, welcome to the forum and just shoot it like u stole it..

That's pretty much what I look like if I really suck my gut in and hold my breath. Have to be kind of quick on the picture or I turn blue and get light headed.

Welcome aboard.

The PM9 is a great pistol - I think it is the worlds best pocket pistol. Glad you are having fun with oyurs.

shot another 250 rounds today :D I'm wearing it out guys! :) I've gone over my ammo budget to the month! I did pick up a butt load of brass,
I'm certain I'll be reloading in the near future there's a class opening up in a couple of weeks. Speaking of reloading, is it true that you don't reallly save money because you shoot more rounds right?
