Got my new CM9 at my local shop which ordered it for me. At first it was REALLY tight.
Got home, did all the prep. Went to the range and shot 150 rounds of Federal american eagle fmj without a hiccup, nothing! Evan the 7 roung mag I bought worked flawless. The one thing I did notice is that I need to push the 6 round mag in, then press the mag release to effectively pull it out. I won't drop free. Next time I'll try defense ammo.

Good to hear! I pick mine up tomorrow. I'll do the clean and prep work tomorrow night, then go shoot on Saturday!

My 6rd mag does the same with every brand of ammo/bullet, even after about 450 rds. The 7 rounder drops like normal mags. I think there's a post or 2 in this sub-forum about how to make that 6rd mag drop if you're really interested...I never bothered cuz I'm not that concerned about it. Good luck with the CM9, you made a great choice and I'm sure you'll love it more the more you shoot it.

I bought my CM9 last week. I cleaned and lubed as directed. I had a mix bag(in a zip-lock bag) of 9's left over from shooting sprees with my Ruger P89 and Smith 469. I decided to load as they came out of the bag. They range from Blazer 115 FMJ to Federal 147 Hi Shoks. And there were several I have no idea of criteria. All functioned great. No problems with about 120 rounds. I will do some more break-in shooting this weekend. LOVE IT.

Good to hear more good reports on the CM9. Sure looks like Kahr did their homework on this one and got running like a champ before they ever sold one. It's great when folk post the positive results they have.
Most people come here looking for help with a problem, which kind of makes it look like Kahrs aren't that great of a gun, but with proper break in and lube, they sure seem to run great for me.
My CW45 did have to go back to Kahr due to the trigger not resetting, but they had it back to me in 7 days. I was pleasantly surprised at that quick turnaround.
Welcome to the forum guys, hope all your CM9's run like champs for you.
