It says log into your Google account. I don't have a Google account. If I open an account, isn't that letting the fox into the henhouse?

What does a Google account do for me? I know what it does for them, but I don't see the benefit for me.:cool:

I've given my info to WAY too many companies and agencies already. I try to curtail this as much as posible.... but I'm sure my personnal info is available to the entire world.

Agreed, if you don't have a Google account, it's not much good to create one to clear your history. If you DO have one, or a Youtube account, then it's really important to clear it out. Google permeates so much of the interwebs, it's hard not to have some history on you someplace.

I've got a number of google accounts - all gmail.

One for me, one for work, one for organization, one for sidejobs, etc.

I'm happy to report that none of them had the web tracking turned on.... by default? Dunno.
