Just got back a few hours ago from a family shooting trip, I put another 300 rounds through my CW9 so it has over 500 rounds through it in two weeks, the only issues I had was feeding 124gr JHP defense rounds.
It functioned flawless today only one jam and I think my buddy didn’t have the Mag in all the way.
Not ready to give up my 1911 or any of my full size pistols but I did enjoy shooting my CW9 today.

I’m going to start looking for an IWB holster for it and would appreciate any feedback, I’m a big guy 6’3” 300lbs I usually carry my Officers 1911 about 4:30 to 5:00 o’clock or my SP101 in a pocket depending on the clothes.
But I think the CW9 is a little large for pocket carry so I’ll need a IWB holster.

Thanks

i've got a p9, so same size as your cw.

are you looking for something kydex or leather? leather i can't really offer much, but for kydex i really love my comptac infidel. never been a fan of the pancake holsters, but a lot of folks swear by them. i just prefer a standard looking kydex chunk that has good retention. anyway, the infidel is pretty comfortable. they have a version for aiwb called the two-o-clock, but i don't do aiwb.

i've been looking at a silent thunder from garrett industries for my p9. no reason. just always looking for that perfect carry/comfort option. they seem to have super reviews, combo of kydex and leather sounds smooth, but they are pricey.

Do you prefer leather or kydex for your IWB holster?

If leather, I recommend James Dean Gunleather -

For kydex, I recommend Coach Paul at PJ Holsters -

For me it's Silent Thunder all the way. Great holsters that save the gun finish, great company policies and great people that run it.
