Hello all, I picked up a new CM9 at the GS yesterday after researching the compact 9s. Thanks to this forum, I did a thorough out of the box cleaning, lube, magazine breakdown/clean and MANY slide racks. then off to the range I went. 200+ rounds 4 different types of ammo and 0 failures. I found that once I got used to the trigger this is a very accurate gun. I traded in my Taurus 709 slim for this gun because I found it's size to be a deterrent to carrying it. Although a little heavier than my P3AT, the CM9 fits nicely into the pocket holster I use for the 380. I love the gun and it will now be my EDC. Thanks again for the info on this site getting me going on the right path with this firearm!!

Welcome to the forum TWRGUY. The CM9 is getting quite a good reputation around here. Accurate and having very few problems. I hope you bond with your gun well and it gives you many years of trouble free service.

Congrats on the new CM9. It is a sweet little pistol. Small enough to hide, easily, accurate as all get out, has a smooth as silk trigger, and it is a hoot to shoot. Enjoy the new pistol, and welcome to the forum..

I would have expected no less out of the cm9. It is just trhat good of agun. I try to never compare a 380 to a 9mm of any gun, It is all abourt firepower and as u have found out the P3at is msller but less power and certainly lacks in quality. This cm9 is a gun u can shoot until the cows come home. I owned 3 kel tecs--NEVER AGAIN.:banplease:

Welcome! I just got one as well, and mine has been flawless in the 250 rounds or so I have put though it.
