bedside rig?

Ive seen the bedside set ups that are basically a holster on the side of the bed, with something that slides between the mattress and box spring. As soon as I saw these for sale I thought... all i need is an OWB holster, and I can make one of these somehow... anyone done it? Looking for as many ideas as possible. If not ill wait till i get my holster and just go for it.

I oike that rig. One could get a Crossbreed Ohai rig and use it on the bed in the car and in your gun bag/murse/purse.
