I know that a mag release button that's too easily tripped can result in dumped magazines, but in my new pistol, I need to use my off hand to press the button in to release the magazine.
I'm not talking about the mag not dropping freely... I'm having difficulty getting the mag release button to let go of the mag.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

go sit in a room where there's no one to drive completely insane and just slap the clip into the gun, release and repeat. When I unpacked mine it was the same way until I ran the clip in and out a bunch of times.

Thanks for the reply. I'll start tomorrow morning, and keep on until the release catch (or whatever it's called) starts to unlock the mags.
I was afraid that I'd need to sand or file or Dremel something at 15,000rpm:eek: to take care of the problem (I owned a PF9 for a few months that gave me fits with light fp strikes, mags dropping out at will, sights falling off, etc., and the "fixes" were always to take some kind of abrasive or grinding tool, and machine off the rough spots, or to get out the JB Weld to re-attach something:confused:). That went on for 500 rounds, finally got the thing to run pretty good, but since I lost confidence in the pistol, I traded it.
Thanks again.

If the "wearing it in" method doesn't work there is a thread in the Kahr-Tech forum that describes in good detail how to use a piece of rolled up light grit sandpaper to clearance the release so it will eject the mag more easily, but I wouldn't resort to that method until you're sure you need to.

just try dropping some clp down the mag release button with the gun laying flat on a table

I've got some CLP out in the garage. I'll let some of it drip on to the sides of the mag release button with the pistol laying on its side.
Thanks all for your help.
