Just across my desk: Apple (AAPL) continues to make inroads into the corporate/government market, with the ATF bureau about to begin the process of swapping its employees' BlackBerrys (RIMM) for iPhones, according to a report citing the agency's CIO.
I'm guessing that eventually you will go to your FFL, open an ATF app or just flash a bar code to the gun serial number, and you're good to go. This will eventually be a way for the government to track gun owners via GPS on the iPhones (and Androids). Just saying....
