Has anyone had an opportunity to try the Tuckable version of Remora holsters yet? I'm thinking about one for my new CM9.;)

Welcome to the forum and to the Grinning From Ear to Ear CM9 Owners Club! :D

I order the full boat Remora with swaet shield and strap for ankle carry. It is nicely made, but very thick (too much for pocket crry, IMO). In the waist, I found that the grippy material all over meant I couldn't just slide it in and go. I had to undo my belt and my pants to get it positioned, then it would move before I could get everything cinched back up. Others love it IWB, so YMMV. But I'm pretty sure that the grippy material would be grabbing your shirt and printing if you tried to wear it tucked.

My recommendation is the PJ Holster Tuckable IWB (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=27). I would avoid the J-hook because it can make your pants sag. I like the over the belt clip. But if you want tuckable with total concealment, get the Velcro attachment, which comes with a strip to put on the back of your belt just behind the hip. I like the FBI cant, but Paul will do cant, ride height and attachment method any way you want it. The cant can be adjusted somewhat using the Velcro.

There are so many good holsters out there but I'm looking for something that would work for everything I normally wear, Levies and Polo down to scrubs with a drawstring and elastic waistband (perhaps with an elastic strap around my hips underneath for extra support). I might get a crossbreed type tuckable later but money is tight right now. Since Remora added the "tuckable modification" it looks pretty effective but since it's brand new I haven't seen any reviews on it.

I see. Have you considered a belly band holster? They can be purchased starting in the teens. NRA Store has one that is touted as 'breathable'. Shoot that would even work with your birthday suit! :D

blue150. I ordered the regular Remora 3b for my CM9 a couple of weeks ago. I wear scrubs all day with drawstring. I must say it does the job. It stays put. I use a shirt under the scrub top so the remora is against the shirt and not the skin. It's a bit thick but you can move around a lot and It doesn't move. I haven't used a iwb holster like crossbreed or comp tac minotaur but I saw yesterday some scrubs with belt loops and might give them a try just because I think the remora should just be used in situations where you use gym shorts or scrubs. I plan to get an iwb holter with clips for when I use jeans and a belt and all around carry. Hope this helps.

I have a Remora for my CM9. The reason I chose to get that one instead of a different one is that I have the option to wear it 3 different ways. I have worn it inside my waist and it doesn't move, I have worn it inside my pocket and I have also worn it outside my pants and under my belt and it stays put. To me, it's like 3 holsters in one. Yesterday I wore it over my pants and under my belt when we went out to eat and went shopping and walking around and the day before I wore it in my pocket. They do stay put!!

JFootin, ive heard about how thin the PJ holsters are... does he do pocket holsters? I love that my cm9 will drop into most of my pockets, but some of them dont leave a whole lot of room to work with, so a very thin pocket holster would be super sweet!

FWIW...I'm sending my remora back... It's the 3b full sweat shield. For one, I can't get a good grip on my cm9 with the full sweat shield. Second, after practicing my draw several times, I would ocassionally pull out the holster with the gun...not good.

I will say that it is very comfortable though. For now I'll stick with my Garrett ST and my white hat max tuck holsters.

I bought the tuckable remora and it is very thick and prints badly. Also when drawing holster came out several times.I going to try the non tuckackable without the full sweat shield and see how I like that.Remora has a return policy of 10 % restocking fee plus shipping which is not good business pratices in my opinion. The thickness makes my cm9 fell like a glock 21.

IMO - You can not beat the Remora for comfort, price, wear, warranty, customer service..... Try one. If you don't like it...send it back. I have turned on so many to Remora. They all thank me for it and turn on others. Good product. Good company. Good deal.
