So I came across this board through an internet search about my PM40 slide locking back for each and every trigger pull or through simply racking the slide. Lo and behold I find the fix to be tuning the slide stop spring. Thanks to the fellow board members for posting such illustrative threads detailing how to remedy this issue. At a minimum this saved me a phone call to Kahr customer service and much frustration. Muchas Gracias Mis Amigos Nuevos!:D

souds like to me the little springhy was below the slide stop nub instead of above and sittingin that little grove. goad u got it right.

I feel the same way--thanks to all the help I got here when I first got my PM40, I bought a CM9 when they came out, and now shoot one or the other almost every week. Great guns, great forum.

Glad to be here and I have two Kahr pistols, the MK40 and the aforementioned PM40, and really like them both. And Semper Fi to my fellow Marines!
