For those who have followed Newt Gingrich’s career, the revelation that he talks out of both sides of his mouth won’t be a surprise.

Despite claiming to be pro-gun, Newt Gingrich’s reign as Speaker was downright hostile to our Second Amendment rights.

Newt supports the Brady National Gun Registry, a national biometric thumbprint database for gun purchasers, the Lautenberg Gun Ban and the “Criminal Safezones Act."

Newt doesn't think the Brady Instant Gun Registry goes far enough -- he wants thumbprints:

"I think we prefer to go to instant check on an immediate basis and try to accelerate implementing instant checks so that you could literally check by thumbprint... Instant check is a much better system than the Brady process." -- June 27, 1997

ANYONE but OBAMMY. That man wants to take away everything this country stands for!
He is not stupid, he very calculating and sadly there's too many naive voters out there that will re elect him :(

Once again, I will not be voting for a candidate, but against Obama.

Romney is a Mormon, which is better than a Muslim, but still wacky.
Newt is from my home state, but he has a lack of morals.
I don't know anything about Santorum.
Ron Paul isn't even in the running.

We best work on winning the senate and HOPING for the big seat but it is going to be hard to beat the great one, he has damn near a billion dollars to slam any oponent, the economy is picking up and he willget credit for it. He probably sucked Netanyohoo weed whacker today to keep him from boming Iran until Nov. 10th . The supreme c\ourt will probalby fokk around and make no decision on the obammur care until Nov 9th and IMO we have not put forth a rep candidate that resonates with the independats. But I will vote against obummer so who ever it is, he will get my vote.

I'm all for Ron Paul. He wants to legalize drugs, prostitution and cut our military to the bone. By electing him our country can fall at a much faster rate and when it hits bottom we'll be able to start all over again. Yup, Ron's my kinda guy. Not.
