I've never heard of anybody making one. I've often thought it would be easy enough to plug with a little Acra Glas Gel with the black dye. Wouldn't take much. Not sure if it would be worth the effort but if you find the hole offending maybe so.

Not yet but I'm thinking about getting into the butt plug business.

You'd be adding weight if it was filled... not much, but... something to consider.

Also worth considering the hole is there for injection molding purposes. To have such a thick solid piece would ask for voids, excess shrinkage, malformed parts. By controlling the thickness - not having any ay all - they can keep the structure more uniform as it comes from the mold. IOW, no real bad karma gonna happen unless it decides to spit the AccraGlass out of the hole. So, maybe you'd wanna get in there and roughen up the insides of the hole a bit, so the 'glass has something to bite against. AG has almost no expansion or contraction as it cures, so you should be set - just keep the frame in someplace warmish - not out in March garage temperatures.

Myself, I wouldn't fill the whole void. I'd probably plug it with something and only put a 1/4 to 3/8" or so of the AG. I've never looked close to see how much is really there other than the visible opening.

I would probably make it out of 1/8" kydex, shape it to fit snugly and glue it in with super glue. Probably take all of 1/2 hour.

You could make something like the Glock plug. Sand it down.

Yes, for just a few grams to consider... plugs like those for Glock weight almost nothing.

If one did make a (removable) plug, i wonder if the cavity is big enough for a few extra parts without rattling around too much. Or mould a small punch or T6 driver into the plug for an always-with-you slide takedown tool.

That would be a good place to hide a spare slide lock spring, though getting it out might be a problem. I just looked at my PM45 and that's a tiny aperture.

The one on my P380 is huge when compared to the PM45!

Dang! The PM9 and the P40 cavities are even larger than the P380!

Left to Right: P380, PM45, PM9 and P40.
