I had my front trijicon sight break off while firing, but I had some concern that the front sight could rub againt the opening of my pjholster while unholstering and that that my have lead to the failure. When I really tried, it was akward but, I was able to hit the front sight on the holster opening.
So I descided to modify the holster to give it a bigger sight channel. I used three wooden skewers taped together like a triagle to use as a form and taped it between the front and rear sight. Heated the sight area of the holster with a cigar torch lighter, insterted the gun with skewers, and used some finger pressure to form the channel and this is the result:
5547
5548
I'm pretty happy with it. It is now impossible for the front sight to hit any portion of the holster no matter how hard I try.

Thats one ofnthe reasons i didnt want to order the pj and wanted to get the comp tac i fidel, but i emailed him and he said he can make that adjustment for me. The quick response and flexability really makes me want to like the holster, cant wait for it to come in, bc if its nice, might have to get more for my other pocket pistols.

Any of u guys that have worked with PJ before know if he can make this part of the original design? If they manage to come out with the xs for the cm, i wanna go that route but not if he cant make the right changes to the holster.

He can do anything you need. The PJ holsters are custom made one at a time to meet customer needs.

I have CW45 and a PJ Holster for it and was getting ready to order the Trijicon front sight. Will I have a problem without the adjustment to the holster? Is the sight that fragile? Thanks.
