I just now received a rather long package delivered to my desk! I carefully read the address label as I'm not expecting anything and see the sender is Grim Reapers.com.
After immediately putting the bomb squad on full alert I carefully inspected the package and had a hearing co worker listen carefully for ticking noises. Nothing heard. Package is very light.

Hmmmmm. So I manned up and opened carefully wearing safety glasses and exam gloves, no powder, odor, etc.

I look inside and I see a black stick and some brown paper packaging. Now I'm really freaking confused. So I think to myself do I pull that black stick out of the box possible setting off a detonator possibly blowing myself and all of my coworkers to kingdom come?

Hell yes. So I pull it out and it has a nice little white handle on one end. It's a black stick with a white handle? Still completely perplexed I'm like what is the deal here.

Then the light bulb (very dim but still a bulb) in my head goes off and I think Swagger Stick. This has my Kahrtalk pals written all over it. Sho nuff, I go to Grimreapers.com and lo and behold Swagger stick it is.

So with blood pressure back to normal, all emergency response units returned to stand down status, I thank whoever is responsible for this. I shall swagger and carry with pride.

Well you deserving old dog, congrats! Now, where's the photo of your new treasure?
I used to be authorized to carry a swagger stick until somebody in their infinite wisdom thought that was too 19th century for a modern Marine Corps.
Now, that's not to say I ever carried mine on duty, but I liked that they used to trust us with a small stick LOL. I still have it around here someplace.
Regards,
Greg

You could use it as a pointy stick with a little whittling...

Been WAY too long since I've watched YF! Netflix, here I come!

EDIT: Just noticed I hit my 25th post! Now Bawanna can tell me to shut up when need be!

So nobody is gonna fess up on this stick huh? I have to rely on my spidey senses?

I duct taped a couple of 1 1/2" blocks onto my wheelchair tire. Instant built in swagger, a little rough on the neck and back but anything to obtain the proper swagger.

All right, I fess up.

It wasn't me. :p

Cuz, I think you're going to be getting a second hand horse head for that one! :behindsofa:

Hmmm.... This sounds like a case for one of the mystery readers around here. I only know it wasn't me.

Maybe Bawanna just doesn't remember ordering it. I do remember a Colonel in WWII who carried one all the time. Seems his name was Klink.

I'd ask to see your mysterious package, but...

1. Just doesn't sound right.
2. I'm really afraid of what I'd see.
3. I can only zoom in for far on this monitor.
4. Mind bleach is getting expensive

Have you tried going to Google and typing in "site:kahrtalk.com swagger stick", and looking through the threads that come up in that search to see who might have mentioned a swagger stick recently?

I think we have a prime suspect. Scoundrel, you really are a scoundrel. I need to bring it home and take a picture. I've been doing most of my swaggering at work.

I know your innocent until proven guilty in the court of kahrtalk but thank you.

Oh, busted! I've been outed.

You'll need a warrant to get the order information from Amazon before you can prove anything though!
