So I was thinking, my phone has been ringing off the hook with the elections coming up. I actually got a call on "What do I think about the President." Well being a straight talker I answered the questions honestly. After the call I got to thinking based on pranks and head games my daughter does to telemarketers ...

What if when we get these calls about HIM we answer that WE LOVE the current man in charge. Not only do we love him he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Now if we all do that and the polls show his favorability rating going up, would the lefties slack off and not work as hard, and the other side step up the pace to win... the goal being getting a new occupant to the White house. Getting what you want by subversion and manipulation. I mean they are trying to do that to us so why not a little in return?

So what do you all think?

Yea it might just work. Sorta like a reverse "Fairness Doctrine" sting

Hey if lying, trechery, deceit and dishonesty get us a new occupant in the White House......I'm in. As you said, they are doing it and have been doing it since day one, what's good for the duck is good for the duckling, I got that screwed up, I just know it, what's good for the goose, hell I give up.

I imagine it would get you off some conservative calling lists....No, not if you are registered as a Republican.

Kinda a topic hijack but my 82 yo mom gave me this to read today.
You Gotta read this to understand what we're facing for another 4 and more years.

This writer is spot on. It was an tiring read after a long day for sure, but brilliant. I certainly hope the conservatives keep up the pressure and continue to fire the alarm bells, cause it's going to take a major effort to turn this ship around after the last three years. We as conservatives must adopt a no holds barred, take no prisoners attitude. There is no substitute for victory!

A friend of mine told me something funny a few weeks ago:

A friend of his was constantly getting politically-oriented calls that asked questions about his voting preferences, so he finally decided to strike back. The next time someone called and asked him which party he voted for, he said "Republican," and when asked about his religious affiliation he said "Muslim" (clearly not true, especially if you knew this guy). Shortly thereafter he was asked to become the leader of Muslim Republicans in his state. :)

Well, at least *I* thought it was funny.....

I read half of it. Will read the rest tomorrow. Adds details to stuff I already knew BEFORE the 2008 election. Alinsky's admiration of Lucifer really puts a clear focus on what kind of persons we are dealing with here. And because Lucifer still rules over the darkness and evil that covers this world, he lends power and support—a kind of evil grace—to these evil people.

And, facts are facts, they have been very successful at boring into the system to destroy it from the inside out. VERY SUCCESSFUL!

I think that it's a stupid idea. If the poll numbers show Obama as a sure winner it could dissuade anti-Obama voters from voting. I'd rather have the SOB running scared.

Maybe so, but I know last election (2010) the media had the Dem's taking a minor loss. They took a minor whipping. Same thing in '94 after Clintons first couple of years. The Dem's were suppose to take more seats. The talking heads on NPR in '94 were at a loss for words on election night. I thought one of the women was going to cry on the air.

I think conservative americans, all americans in general, are underestimated and a rebellious bunch and the minute you think they give up, watch out. They will surprise you.

Actually that is right on topic. Good reading too. In a simple way that's just what my point was. Lull the liberals into a sense of complacency and encourage the independent, conservative, and libertarian masses to vote. They are trying to manipulate us and we need to screw with them too.

We don't need to do a damn thing but vote.

We don't need to do a damn thing but vote.

This is the correct answer.

And get your friends out to vote too.

I must be very unpopular - I never get any of these calls. Oh wait, I don't have a home phone - never mind!

I think I like your idea there.
