1st kid in Mexico

I heard yesterday the "anointed one" let his 13 yr old daughter go on spring break with friends to Mexico ! Really ? Who lets a 13 yr go on spring break, and to another country ? Granted, she's a member of the first family, so she's probably safe. Oh, yeah, there's 25 secret service agents along for the trip. 25 ! And guess who's paying for all that ?

You just don't see the big picture. These trips that the first family is taking spur the economy. Mexico needs our tax dollars to enhance their position as a trading partner. The jet fuel burned by the first family keeps the refineries humming. Don't you know that Obama can do no wrong. He is the One.

The best point I heard made about this was that she was allowed this trip in spite of the federal advisements to American citizens against travel down there due to heightened dangers.

Aside from the warning of Americans going to Mexico, I don't have a big problem with this. I've been to more than a few places in Mexico over the years and have enjoyed myself. I'm sure there were other kids from good families that were also there.

And, no, I'm not of a fan of other folks' president.

Perhaps Mexico is $$ for the trip in an effort to bolster its image as a destination and get Americans to travel/live there again and spend some $$

The rest of us can't go with a small army of secret service agents to protect them. At taxpayer's expense.

Hmmm.... since our law officials aren't allowed to be armed in Mexico, what are the packin down there? Sling shots? If they wouldn't allow our DEA agents to be armed while gunned down by Obama's guns surely they wouldn't make an exception for the Obama kid. If Obama got an exception he should be ashamed of himself. Those agents were somebody's kids and certainly worth as much as his.

You need to drink more kool aid Old Lincoln. Your comparing "The Ones" kids to some measly underpaid public servants kids? I'm sure the battalion of Secret Service agents there to protect her are armed to the teeth and the local what passes for LE is in full force too.

I can't imagine the trauma though, poor child going through life having to tell others who her daddy is, if he really is her daddy, that's never been proven either.

I don't think he knows the meaning of the word,.."ashamed". I'm pretty sure the 25 agents are armed to the teeth.

Every child of every POTUS for the last I don't know how many years has had their own detail, all at taxpayers expense. Just a perk or curse being the guy sitting in the Oval Office.

Not sure when, or if, the protection ever stops. I do know it doesn't stop for former POTUS', though. And the spouses.

Who cares? Congress makes these rules, and the prez is going to work within the parameters. The same went for 43 and others, as well. Hell, 43 was forever "cutting brush" on his ranchette in central TX on his history making vacations, which were longer and more often than any other prez.

Geez, make a well thought out argument against his policies and provide a feasible solution for same, instead of some lame assertions or vacation plans, if you want to make sure he's a one termer. You know, I bet he used whitehouse paper and pens to fill out his NCAA bracket too!
