It's difficult to tell brand and manufacture as they all look similar to me.

All I did was Google searched "aya side by side shotguns", selected Images and chose a couple. Then, right click the pic, choose "Copy image location" and used the picture button to insert them here.

This is the one my dad ordered when I ordered mine. My younger brother brought it over for me to clean after dad gave it to him. So I snapped a couple pics.

Dad ordered a higher end model with upgraded wood and some gold inlay on the stock and top of the barrel.

Hi Jfootin, My dads maybe about 50 rounds for trap. Mine on the other hand, I have hunted grouse, dove, and partridge with it. I just shot some trap with it last summer as well as a few rounds over the years. When we ordered them we had them made with a low shine oiled finish to reduce seeing scratches and we had a beaver tail forearm put on because of barrel heat shooting trap. I do like the classic splinter look, but when you shoot trap until your black and blue the barrel gets pretty hot. My dad never got into hunting and shooting but he knew I did so he supported my activity when I was growing up at home.

Both beautiful shotguns. I do like an oiled finish so it's easier to fix a dent or ding over this 1/2" think synthetic finishes that get dinging like the door of a pickup truck.

My dad was not a serious hunter and not really into guns. No one seems to know where my out of control love of firearms comes from, guess it'll always be a mystery.
I have inherited a few from others guys dads and friends. I cherish each and every one. They all seem to have a story of some sort.

I am not sure about that. I would love to get the Model Anniversary (http://www.aya-fineguns.com/detalles_en.php?wgo=62&wval=73&main=PROGRAM), and even if at the beginning it would hurt to shoot that beauty the pleasure of doing it would be immense.

Hey KMA, if you like them keep an eye on Cabelas and Guns America. They are not what I would call cheap in price, but they are not bad. IMO I think they are one of the best values for your dollar. They handle as good as they look as well.

That sounds about right jfootin the ones my brother and I have are nice field guns. AyA does make all different grades of shotguns field, competition, and collector. They all have one thing in common though they are fine high quality doubles. You can find them for a thousand to thousands of dollars. Everyone I know that has one enjoys shooting and hunting with them.

Hi Bawanna, not quiet like that my little brother is 12 years younger then me, so when we placed the order from Spain I was 15 and he was to young. The year before last my dad mentioned his shotgun that has been tucked away in the closet for three decades plus and we both agreed that it should go to my brother. My thought is I have one and not only that I worked for the money as well. I worked for a summer in the YCC, sold veggies from the garden and mowed. The hardest part of all was the year wait to get the thing made and delivered.

I knew you were Bawanna, dad spent countless trips with me as my rabbit flusher. I recall our first trip to Mich. salmon fishing him giving me the new waders and he using the old, well the old ones leaked. He returned to the bank with the things weighing as much as him full of cold water. You know people talk about stars and athletes as role models, not for me my dad is my role model. Lincoln that is a real classic beauty, I would like to see one in the flesh.

That's a relatively unique combination, double triggers, straight grip and full beavertail. AyA has put together some good ones over the years. Very nice, I have that combination on my 28 gauge RBL from CT Shotgun. See it on some old Parkers too. That's a pretty gun. Gauge? Barrel length? You know geek questions.:D

Had a little beauty come into the store a few weeks ago (I work at Cabela's in Gonzales, LA). I've always been a sucker for side by sides, own 3 myself and not a single o/u. Never heard of, let alone seen, an AyA before and I fell in love! A side by side .410 that had been used but taken care of very well over the years.

The Gun Library bought it and the first thing I did was ask what price we were putting on it. I thought they were lieing to me when they said $1500! Until it went on display.

Didn't even last for a week at that price.

Beautiful firearms and I would love to own one one day, and I'd be sure to shoot it for sure!
