I just got a remora holster in the mail today (for front pocket carry) and i always wear thin cargo pants and i'm kind of disappointed with the imprint from the outside, it may just be my thin pants.
Can you post pics of your front pocket holsters, 1 of the holster and the gun, and 1 of what your pants look like with the holster/gun in the pocket (with you wearing them).
I think this will be a good post for those contemplating pocket holsters.... thanks for the help and don't forget to mention the brand, and most importantly, don't forget pictures!!

I carry in jeans 24/7 in a desantis and if u are really looking there (which u perverted bastard, u best not be) then my PM9 prints. I khave a ccw permit so I never worry about it. I have carried close to 50 years form the J frame to this PM9. It prints but again I know it is there, u thye carrier know it is there a suspecting eye does not know what it is. We tend towrroyt to much about this printing thing BECAUSE we think everyone knows what we know and they do not and also THEY AIN'T LOOKIN. I drink coffee alot witha couple state troopers, my PM9 has always been in my front pocket, they have never looked, or ever metioned to me anything. Maye thy know maybe they don't I cold care less. 10 deifferent pocket hosters will all print, one will print the most andone wil print the least BUT THEY WILL ALL PRINT. In jeans for sure, again to me it is a mute point. they just ain't lookin. Test it out urself. next time ur in a mall with people all around see if u can even notice anything in their front pocket, expecially when they are on the move . Just damn near not gonna happen Now wear a hoodie and have ur pants below ur knees and ur like some have stated gonna get looked at alot more than a well dressed neat as a pin clean shaven well mannered ol 68 year old man like ol jocko. just sayin.

I generally carry my CM9 AIWB. I pocket carry a KelTec P3AT in cargo shorts during the warm summer weather and it doesn't print. I've never felt comfortable with carrying my CM9 in pocket, but that's just me. If it works for you, go for it.

Nobodies posting pics of their junk.
That's one big reason why I hang out here - LOL!
I like DeSantis Super Fly for autos and DeSantis Nemesis for revolvers.
Although I mostly belt carry these days...

I think the Remora is basically an IWB holster rather than a pocket holster, although I have used one in a Jacket pocket. Personally, I use an Uncle Mike's #4 for the PM9, LCP, and sometimes the MK40 if my pants or jacket are heavy enough to carry the weight.

from the looks of pictures online, the Remora for the CM9 and uncle mikes #4 look about the same size....

I actually pocket carry my P9 some, in a desantis nemesis. Pretty much in either jeans or shorts. The P9 is too heavy for Khaki pocket carry and most folks would debate it's too heavy/big for any pocket carry, but it works for me when I don't feel like dealing with a regular holster.
Anyway, I'm w/ Jocko. One, I have a permit, and my purpose for concealed carry is not to have the element of suprise, it's totally defensive...therefore I really don't care if someone happens to notice me printing a bit. Two, people aren't looking for it and by and large unless you mention it and then have them examine you closely, nobody is going to notice in the first place. The power of suggestion is powerful. Don't make reference to it and nobody will ever notice.
We play hide and seek in the house alot, and we all know the house like the back of our hands...no big suprise. But I frequently find a place that works great because people don't look certain places. Fade back into a shadow and be still, make yourself small under a pile of pillows. It's pretty funny what the human eye and brain does NOT see, given it's ability to quickly send and process information back and forth.

Go to Wally World and get the iron-on patches. Turn the pants inside out and iron a pstch on the outside of the pocket...not the inside of the pant leg. Really cuts down the print on light weight pants.

Cool idea! It would probably help keep the pocket from coming out when you draw the gun, too.

Thats the nice thing about the remora, whatever material its made with is sticky (not to the touch) so it won't ever come out when you draw the gun.
So much for a picture thread  lol, but hey EAST RIVER, what kind of holster is that, did you make it yourself?

Yeah, I do not pocket carry in most thin pants. Exception is the 5.11 covert pants that are made to accommodate a pocket gun and conceal well enough. My Silent Thunder IWB does conceal very well in any pants as is tuckable for when you can't wear an over shirt. There's a tucked pic in this slideshow (http://s762.photobucket.com/albums/xx269/OldLincoln/Holsters/?albumview=slideshow).

lately i HAVE BEEN WEARING ALOT MY 5.11 COVERT t-SHIRT. tHIS SHIRT IS TE CATS NUTS, certainly not a fast draw area but really conceals any gun nicely. U gotta wear something over it, but the pockets (padded) on each side for me carrys my cell phone on the left side and my PM9 on the right side and I still put the pM9 in that shirt ijside my desantis to. Not that one needs to as the inner padding keeps it away form ones body. It is spandex so it fits like paint and no jiggling around either. It hides certaihnly better than any shoulder rig. I usually wear it under a sweatshir or a button shirt when ridiung my Shirley Davidson. I four sure does not print whatso ever. Works great to with just my leather vest over it to but in chilly weather a sweat shirt (less the fokking hoodie) seems to work great.
Old Lincoln photos of gun in jeans pocket is very good, If it prints, I can't see it and so what. if u have a ccw permit, why should u realy give a rats ass, NO ONE IS LOOKING.
I just will not dress to carry, although one might cal the 5.11 covert T-shirt dressing to carry but for me it is no different than wearing a standard T-shirt under a sweatshirt or vest. Also a good storage place for a double cheeseburger or a dozen pack of Trojans.--Just sayin!!!

This is a really good idea. Whats the average length of time the patch lasts before you have to replace it? Can you post a pic of the patches you use?

Jocko, I have one of those holster T-shirts. When I wear it, I wear a western style shirt with snaps instead of buttons over it. When I need to draw my gun, I can "rip" the shirt open instantly and go for my gun. And that doesn't damage the shirt.

One thing most don't even consider is having pants altered by lengthening and reenforcing the carry pocket. You can have whatever you want and even add a thin stiffener to the outside of the pocket. A lot of dry cleaner do that kind of stuff. In my case my wife does an excellent job and is a perfectionist. I can't figure out if it's because she really loves me or she doesn't want me messing with her sewing machine.
