View Full Version : For reloaders - Primers and 45 bullets

For any of you reloaders in the Atlanta area, I've acquired a ton of 45 FMJ bullets and two boxes of primers and have no use for them - no brass. The bullets are loose so I haven't counted them, but there's a bunch. I thought I'd offer them to my digital friends here, before giving them to someone at my range. Let me know if you want them.

Would ship to Virginia if I reimbursed you for shipping?

Shipping primers will require a hazmat fee. Bullets will not. Better see how many primers are available to see if they are worth shipping because of hazmat charge. If it is only 2 box of 100, then dispose of lacally. If they are 2 box of 1000 then it would be well worth the fee.

I'm in OH, looking for bullets. What can I send your way?

Last I checked it is virtually impossible for a private individual to ship either primers or powder. Fedex even requires HAZMAT certification for shipping loaded ammo. As of a few months ago UPS would accept ammo shipments with an ORM-D label.

This is way old guys and I didn't get a single bullet.:(:(:(

The shipping information is correct though. My semi local LE Dealer used to send me powder and primers without problem. They no longer ship at all to anyone. Too much hassle.

Bullets still not a problem. The if it fits it ships is a wonderful thing for bullets.

Well, what the heck.... since we're talking about it, if anybody has free 45ACP cases I'll take 'em and pay shipping. I know, what a guy, huh?

I'm having it all loaded on the boat as we speak. It is a tramp steamer however and Stumpwater is down the list of ports of call, following Bellinghausen Station.

That's fine, OL

Time isn't an issue. We're pretty laid back here in Stumpwater. Besides, we'll have to wait a couple of months for the river to come back up enough for the pole barges to make it this far inland.
