hey guys I recently bought a PM9 (which I abslutely love.... no more .380)
I am looking for advice on an ankle holster. Don't mind spending money don't really want to spend a couple hundred though. Alessi looks nice. Currently carrying in a Desantis pocket holster which I would not mind replacing with something a little nicer also. Did I mention this thing is awesome. Thanks in advance.

Don Hume pocket holster works for me in leather and is very nice quality and not very expensive.

I use the Galco Ankle Glove. I have the one with the holster with a thumbrake attached to a neoprene deal that velcros aroung your ankle. They make one where you just tuck the gun in a slot in the neoprene that doesn't look nearly as good to me but I know guys that have them and like them. I carry my K40 in it so a PM9 you would probably forget it's there.

Mitch: Either of these are great. Neoprene with a wide velcro attachment and sheepskin padding behind the gun.

I would suggest the calf strap for added stability. You can always remove it if it feels uncomfortable. I like the added support especially if you have to beat-feet out of a situation. Also, some tend to overlook (I did) the importance of a loose style leg for optimum ankle consealment. My ankle holster is usually paired up with boot-cut jeans. Not so much a prob with a PM9, but my Block G26 could use the extra room.

Has anyone tried wearing the ankle holster with a PM9 and cowboy boots? It is even possible to draw the gun from inside the boot? I wear boots about half the time, but I have never tried an ankle holster.

michstorm,
I have used a Uncle Mike's pocket holster # 4 for everything from a 5 shot revolver to a 3 inch 1911 for several years. It works very well with a PM9!!

We offer pocket holsters for the PM9, either with or without the C.T. laserguard. You can view our offerings on our website here: K&D Holsters | Custom Gun Leather and Shooting Accessories (http://www.kdholsters.com/pd.php).

For an ankle holster, I would recommend Alessi Holsters.
