I did a search here and did not find anything. Has anyone used this product? Results? Good, bad? The only thing I do not like about the CM9 is the slide being silver and was thinking about usind this product to make the weapon all black in color. Thanks in advance...

Does the Matte black gunkote match up with the frame well?

The 2300 series, not 2400 series, is a very very close match.

If you want to match the frame, I'd not "knock down" the finish after spraying (by applying lacquer thinner before curing). It will be a little more textured that way, less glossy.

And... do expect to go two coats, or three, curing in between, with naphtha bath before spraying again.

I have the "tactical matte black" that came out GREAT on my RUGER LCP and Kel tec PF-9. I didn't use the aerosol though b/c I heard that it can come out uneven, so I used my small air brush gun (with a very nice air brush) and put on thin even coats. Came out looking better than stock. Nice smooth black finish, not glossy at all.

This is one my of pf-9's that I sprayed, I had two, this one i sold b/c I never shot the darn thing.

I have my LCP that I carry almost daily, and that thing shows no sign of wear with the duracoat. Whereas the factory finish rubbed off within a few weeks of carrying both guns.

Hand my CW40's slide done in the DuraHeat HK Black by one of the owners of my LGS. It came out great. Will not try to do it myself cause I have not the skill or temperment.
