We just ordered our competition guns

We both decided on the Springfield XDm 9mm Competition 5.25"

He got the stainless slide, I got the all black one (I want to do red lettering on the slide like I did on my AR-15 receiver so I chose all black)

Pretty excited. They should arrive mid week.

Happy 4th anniversary to us!

He said for our 5th we'll get a dueling set :D

I've got an extended 4.02" stainless steel Storm Lake 40-9mm barrel,
tungsten competition guide rod, Ghost Rocket 3.5 connector,
smooth trigger and XS Big Dot sights on my Glock G27.

It's for carry and no competition gun.
But it's soooo much better than factory.
When you get used to that kind of feel and accuracy?
There's just no going back - LOL!

I've got a German made factory Sig Sauer stainless steel extended 5.47"
barrel in my P220. It's the most accurate gun I own.

Picked them up last night and went straight to the range. Put about 200 rounds thru mine, went very well.

I was shooting a little low left, don't think that I was yanking the trigger but I want to go again before I start messing with the sights at all.

This has to be one of the coolest post! My girlfriend and I both just started getting into shooting and I can only hope that one day these are the kind of anniversary presents we are getting each other! Congrats on the new guns! You'll have to let us know how the first comp goes.

well let's see:

1st: Diamond Earrings (which I wear every day, great gift)
2nd: Taurus Judge
3rd: Full body massage, facials, day at the spa for me and a girlfriend
4th: XDm

I've also gotten guns for birthdays, Christmas, and even a Kahr P380 on Valentine's a couple of years ago. :D

Congrats, A friend at work just bought an XDM in 40 cal. and loves it. I saw it, very nice firearm. We will more than likely shoot this weekend, so I may get to shoot his and he will shoot my K9.

my arms get tired before I run out of ammo. 19 rounds is a LOT! I'm so used to having only 7 in my MK9 :D

I'm currently tracking my new barrel for my Glock G27.
It's a Storm Lake G27 357 Sig 4.16" extended ported black Isonite QPQ finish on stainless.
Should arrive tomorrow - Woo Hoo!

If Danica, looked like Rosie O, we would not be even talking bout her driving abilities. She will be IMO about a 17th and below NASCAR. That sure is a nice pair of XDm's. I've been looking at these myself. Not sure if I like the comp. 5.25" or the standard 4.5" for what I would use it for. Plus one for the sights on the comp. model. You will have to let us know how they works out for you when you start tweaking them in.
