Yesterday I register as a new member of KahrTalk and today I shoot my CM9 for the very first time. It run smoothly with no problems at all. 100 rounds of Speer Lawman 115 gr and I'm a happy Man. I almost did not buy it because a guy I work with told me that Kahr guns are poop. He buys His guns always used and He talked a lot of trash about Kahr. I can't wait to see His face when I tell Him about my first day at the range with it! LOL....I'm glad I bump into this site for I learned a lot about cleaning and lubing on this little gun. After finished lubing I decided to open up the magazine only to find out the spring was backwards . Thanks to all of you guys on suggestions I think my CM9 is good. In a few days I'll be back to the range to finish doing the proper break in. Only thing is I got to get use to the trigger since I only got about 5 to 7 shoots on the center but the rest very low but I think it's Me and not the gun. I'm more acurate with my XD9, but may be because I'm used to the trigger which is totally different to the Kahr. Adios and take care. :D

I'm new here too and your story sounds just like mine with my CM9 and the advice on this forum. Great little gun and great site.

Congratulations, Mr. Hgroton! Once you master the long double action trigger, I believe you will find that all of your shooting results have improved, even on other guns single action pistols. It's a good thing. :)

Welcome to KahrTalk to both of you new guys.
Friend may have had a bad experience with just a single copy of a Kahr and it soured him on the entire brand. To bad for him, I can't think of a single brand that I've paid any attention too where I haven't read of the gun giving someone a problem.

I was going to start a thread about my new CM9 and the range results, but I'll just chime in here instead. I bought my CM9 last week and put 200 rounds through it in 2 range sessions. I had no issues; next step is to test it with my carry load (Speer 124gr +P).
