Oh boy, I hope they don't get bad comments there. We mostly accept it here but Facebook is way public.

So far I haven't gotten into facebook. I scared. My wife and daughter play there. Some parts of it sound pretty cool, others are really scarey.

I've encountered on line business's where you can only contact them via facebook? What's up with that?

This might be the straw that broke the giraffes back though, Donkeys back? maybe my back. I'd kind of like to look at the Kahr page.

Some of those "social" forums are scary... to use some features, you have to give them access to everything you post... even copyrighted stuff. I'm on Facebook and I haven't upgraded to the new "Timeline" format and almost every time I try to look at something, I'm hit with a "using this feature" will automatically change your format to the new "Timeline"... and I back out.

I was adding apps to my Android cell phone and have declined several things that wanted access to all of your data and the use of anything, up to and included copyrighted material! I backed out of a bunch of "Popular" apps and wonder how people signed on to those all-inclusive and intrusive agreements!

It's like the EULAs for software... the ones that go on and on and on.... You just click and accept the ones you trust... but you don't really know what you're signing onto! Just imagine what it's like on a tiny cell phone screen!

I use Facebook, I would want a good antivirus program as people like to play tricks over there. Other than that they have some games and stuff to pass the time.

That would be BAD Karma, for sure, to receive a horse's head. I think all living things over there are 'holy". Then again, maybe they eschew cow meat and chew horse meat!

That sounds better. I should write that down so when I'm asked what my purpose in life is I won't have to make something up.

I don't do Facebook, nor do I text. I have no family I want to keep up with. My phone is a phone, period, because everything else is turned off. If someone wants to reach me they can call or E-Mail me, and to be honest with one or two exceptions, I'd just as soon they do neither.

O'Dell, I don't do Facebook either, but my two daughters do. I'd rather not know what they are posting on there. Go rid of my landline telephone. Tired of people calling for donations, polls, viagra, etc....If you want me, you'll have to know my cell number or send me an email.

The less personal information on the internet about me and my life the better. It's nobody's business. Who knows what they can and will do with it!!!!!!!!! It might be something simple, like selling it to various businesses. But it could be big brother keeping an eye on you, or you may be giving an identity theft a leg up on ruining your life.
