im new to Kahr and to the site i actually joined because ive asked around and no one has any info for me so i figured id ask the world..i own a new Kahr cw45 and the other day i was cleaning my sig 1911 and i was looking at one of the wilson combat magazines i have for it and i thought id try something so i put a snap cap in it and loaded it into my kahr cw45 and it locked up perfectly so i racked the slide back and the snap cap loaded up no problems!!!!wtf!!!thats what my initial impressions were but i was just curious if any one else had tried this and if so is it actually functional because i havent actually used it in a shooting scenario just with the snap cap,,,so let me know

It's seems to be kind of hit and miss. Full size 8 rd Wilson mags run perfectly without modification in my PM45, but the Officer Model size Wilson mags don't.
They look identical, exact same follower, contour of the feed lips all the same.
Haven't figured it out yet.
Several here have modified several different 1911 mags and made them work with mixed results. Many will feed and cycle but not lock back on empty.
For a back up magazine for a full size main carry like myself the locking back wouldn't be an issue to me. The 2 spares for my Cbob run equally well in the ankle PM45. A very nice thing.
