I picked up a CW9 from my local sportsman's warehouse, on sale, 360 out the door, i was a little nervous at first, can i get a quality gun for the price?
I was in the market for a CCW and when i compared the cw9 to the taurus 709 it was no contest, the kahr was much better quality AND cheaper then the 709.
I have had the gun for about a week now and love the thing. 299 flawless rounds down the pipe as a break in. i tried every type of ammo i had and some of my friends' i can't trip this weapon up. The ONE time it failed was a failure to return to battery, the slide was about a half an inch back, gave the slide a bump, no problem, into battery.
did it function so perfectly because i followed the "prep of a new kahr" and "oil points" or is it just an economical quality piece? who knows but i feel fully confidant in carrying it and calling upon it anytime i need.
