There are no doubt 1000's of LE officers deeply disappointed that he won't ever get out. I still remember clearly during the trial, all over the country officers saying they would hunt him down if he ever got out.

I think most still would. He wouldn't last a week on the outside. I think even some bad guys would be hunting him too.

I don't recall the details but I recall that he was kept completely segregated for that very reason. May have been so the entire time, no doubt adding to the cost of his upkeep.
