CW45 bullet options?

I see most folks are shooting 230's in their CW45. Anyone shooting 200's? HP's?

My friend had a CW45 and the only thing it wouldn't shoot was 200gr lswc.

I shot the Critical Defense rounds last time - I think they are 200gr. The CW ate them like candy, though they felt like they gave me more kick then the usual 230gr rounds that I shoot.

plain old 230 gr remington HP's, tried critical defense and they wouldn't seat in the chamber and i haven't tried anything else:confused:

I just ordered some Speer Gold Dot HP for short barrel. This is a new CW45 that I haven't shot yet. I am waiting for the 2 magazines I ordered and the Gold Dots, and will try everything out at the same time. I have a box of Federal FMJ and a box of some local reloads that I will be trying.

WI carrier, I've been wanting to pick up some Critical Defense rounds for my CW9. Are you having FTF issues with these rounds?

Has anybody ever use Magtech HP +p rounds? I just fed some through my M&P45, and I was very satisfied. Especially, for its nice price! Try them out.

But, my go-to home defense rounds have always been Remington Golden Sabers.
