Hello all, new here to the forum and it is a great forum! I am waiting on my lgs to get in a CM9 to replace my LCP and I am wanting a AWIB and pocket holster for her. Any good suggestions on a AWIB would be great. Has anyone tried a Remora holster with thier CM9? Thanks for having me and thanks for your help!

For mt money I go with PJ Holster. If you live where it's hot and humid you may not care for the Remora.

PJ IWB and Concealment Specialities pocket.

The DeSantis pocket holster that they sell for the PM/CM 9 is nice, but quite a bit bigger than it needs to be. The DeSantis that is sold for the P380 actually work pretty well for the PM/CM.

Welcome to KahrTalk.

Remora seems to get great reviews but I'm I'm not thrilled with mine. I'll use it occasionally to AIWB my PM9 and over the course of the day I am making adjustments. Perhaps minor adjustments but adjustments none the less. I'm much happier with my clip holster for AIWBing my Glock 26. I keep meaning to try to exchange my Remora holster for their double mag holder which I'd use in my back pocket for one mag and one knife.

I'm very happy with the Alabama holster I bought for PM9 pocket carry - though I did modify the holster to better suit my needs. I might try an Alabama holster should I ever get off my butt and unload my Remora. Mostly pocket carry my PM9 which is probably why I've procrastinated.

I just ordered a N82 Tactical Original IWB (http://n82tactical.com/n82store/?page_id=2967) holster that will work for both my CM9 and my TCP 380. I specified a slight backward cant for use in the AIWB position. Michael Bane and many others swear that these are the most comfortable holsters ever! :D Not very expensive, either. For $20 more, you can get it tuckable.

For behind the hip, the PJ Over The Belt Clip IWB (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37) is fantastic!

I have the remora with the reinforced top and so far I really like it for several reasons. But first I also have to admit I have only been carrying for a short time and never for a long period at any one time yet, secondary to my lifestyle, ie. such as where I work and or going to the Y or somewhere after work where no weapons allowed. But that being said:

1 For the price its hard to beat
2 You don't need to buy a special belt to use it..and so far it stays where I put it
3 Very easy to change the position/cant or depth I want to carry in for better concealment depending on what types of clothes I'm wearing
4 With the reinforced top very easy to reholster
5 I really cant even tell its there most of the time

Again this works for me so far.. but these guys have been at this a lot longer than me and I have learned to trust their opinions. I'm sure I'll be trying out some other holsters down the road.

That n82 does look really comfortable. Just ordered a pj. can't wait to try it out.

Not much to add about holster choice here, but think long and hard about putting a gun there. (http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1117416__The_ARFCOM_Appendix_Carry_Thread_.html) I know many guys do it, but I sure couldn't.
