Mitt Romney is what I call a conservative come lately. He does fit the bill as an ABO. He'll get my vote if nominated.

I don't really like Romney, but I'd vote for any ANY DAY over Obama.

I held my nose when I voted for McCain, too. I'm hoping for the best.

The only candidate I liked was Ron Paul. Anyone have any idea why the Repub party can't come up with a decent candidate?
The bottom line is that Romney will be the Republican candidate for President.
I could not bring myself to vote for him in the FL primary. :(
I don't like Romney and don't trust him one bit but but I will vote for him in the general election because I can't even begin to imagine what 4 more years of Obama would be like for everyone, not just us gun owners.
The other two left, Gingrich and Paul, should get out now and throw their support behind Romney. Gingrich is broke and Paul is nothing more than a spoiler.
The only way we are going to defeat Obama in Nov. is for everyone to get behind him.

The Supreme Court is the kicker for me. They have the final say in most of the more controversial legislation that comes out of D.C.-- on their Constitutionality.
Another four years of Obama may very well mean another opportunity to send another "Sotomayor" to the nation's highest court, and an opportunity to tip that court in favor of the anti-Constitution left. This could spell disaster for all that cherish liberty, and 2nd Amendment supporting gun owners in particular.
I have to believe that any Supreme Court nominee by Romney will be a Constitutionalist, like John Roberts, who was appointed by George W. Bush.
If Romney gets the nomination, he'll get my vote. It's a no-brainer for me.

He's got my vote. Lesser of 2 big government evils. Yes, even most republicans are big government. But anything is better than Obama.

Ron Paul? I thought you were looking for a decent candidate? Ron Paul is the Dennis Kuchinich of the Republican party.
Anyone with any sense doesn't want the job. You go through hell to get it. Get second guessed on every decision. Half the country hates you and your life isn't your own from that day forward. Why the hell would a decent man run for the position?

If "decent" means "honest" and consistent (with walking his talk) throughout his entire life -- then Ron Paul is the ONLY decent candidate there... The rest of 'em bend wherever the wind blows. I don't agree with him on everything, but at least I know he'll do what he says he'll do. The rest of them say what they think the voters want to hear, and then if elected they do whatever the hell they please.
He is actually very different, that way; a truly decent man among a bunch of lying flip-floppers. The only guy there who truly understands and will support the Constitution, who actually cares about this country; the rest are there only for personal gain and power, IMO.
Sorry for the outburst... Frustrating stuff. :(

If Romney gets the nomination, he'll get my vote. It's a no-brainer for me.Agreed. This is THE MOST crucial issue in the next election. It's hard to believe we had 4 supreme court justices vote against a man's right to protect his home with a firearm. It is preposterous that they could interpret the second amendment as intended for militia only and not the general populace. That is truly scary, and shows how far we have drifted from the intent of the original framers of our Constitution. One more left wing wacko and we might soon kiss the second amendment goodbye.
As for Romney, better late than never. I truly hope he's not just pandering to the gun lobby for support. I hope we get a chance to find out. At least he won't appoint another Sotomayor.

Well we know what the current pres thinks. And after the election he'll try to do something. I guess Romney it is.
Plus I'm tired of seeing all these "Wish Barak and Michelle a nice day, mothers day, Christmas, etc..." ads every time I go to a web site. I need a break.

Since Reagan it's always the lesser of two evils....
It sure would be nice to be able to vote for an American with American values and not a rich SOB that has no idea what we the people really go through.
And yes, not parrot the f'ing party line.
