I met Justin Moon yesterday at the NRA annual convention in St. Louis. As soon as I made it into the exhibition hall, I went straight to the Kahr booth. There were tons of people standing around and it was hard to actually get to the guns to handle them and ask questions of the Kahr reps.
Standing in the back of the booth was someone that looked familiar from pictures in an interview I had read. I thought is was Justin Moon and, sure enough, it was.
I introduced myself and asked for a picture with him. He's a very nice gentlemen and waited patiently while my friend figured out my phone camera.

I was able to talk to him a little about designing the first pistol when he was an econ major in college. My friend mentioned that his dad had carried a Thompson submachine gun in the Pacific in WWII and has pictures of his dad with it. Justin asked for copies of the pictures for the company's brochures.
All-in-all a real nice guy whose company makes really nice pistols.
Was the high point of my day at the NRA convention.
