Hi All,
I took my CM9 to the range this past Sunday, 4/15. Another flawless outing. I stopped counting, but I'm over 1000 rounds and not one single problem. My gun will shoot any ammo I've tried and I'm cheap when it comes to range ammo. This day I used Speer Lawman FMJ. The Trijicon night sights are still as tight with no wobble as the day they were installed. As I have said before, I can shoot this CM9 better than any gun I have ever owned. I have shot 1 better, a Beretta 90-two in .40. But don't own one. Anyway, here are 2 pic's of targets from Sunday. The first pic is my first 50 rounds at 15 yards of the day. After that I practiced at self defense distances, doubles taps and draw and fire etc... Then, I found an old Dirty Bird target in the bottom of my bag. I sent it down about 20 yards, fired one shot and the second pic was the result.
50 rounds at 15 yards. All good except for 2 flyers on the ring line.

One shot at 20 yards. The green center dot is 3/4 of an inch in diameter.

that is not good shooting!!! That is excellent shooting. at that distance I know I could not hold them inside of that target even with my PM9. I would like to blame it on the gun but that would be a lie, I would like to blame it on my eyes but that would be a lie, I would like to blame it on sh!t ammo but aht would be a lie. I would likke to blame it on just beinbg a piss poor shot and that would be the truth.
I realy wish u would not post targets like that, it makes this ol timer feel even worse.

This CM9 is a 1000 time improvement over my former EDC, the LCP. I'd scatter shots all over the paper at 5 yards with the LCP. Just goes to show that it take the right gun for a particular person. However with my experience over the course of a year and a half with the LCP, I can't see how anyone can shoot an LCP accurately.

keep throwing lead down range like a true bossThanks! I'm still working on doing the smiley face from "Lethel Weapon" at 15 yards so I can take a pic of it for Jocko. I get close but seem to alway screw up one shot. I'll get it right someday.

The only problem with that shooting is you don't get to see all those other colors light up on the dirty bird target !!

I'm impressed and humbled by your shooting ability with your CM9. About the only time I come close to results like yours is when I shoot someones full size 1911.

I might be able to do that at 10 feet. Maybe!! Just sayin.

I'm "fairly" certain I could do the same, but the powder burns might make the edges a bit more....ummm....burned?
GREAT SHOOTING!!!
Wow man that is very good shooting. You can be my wing man anytime!
I am a fairly good shot but I would be hard pressed to shoot a target like that with my 4" 1911 all steel Kimber SA.
Keep on practising, cause I feel the South my need a few good men like you in the second war between the states.... :D

Are you sure you didnt confuse "yards" with "feet"? Thats one helluva shot from 20 yards out of a CM9. Even from a rest. Do you use a laser?
If thats a 20 yard standing shot, then holy crap you can shoot!! At that distance your front sight would cover that entire bullseye.

You got that exactly correct! The white circle outline of the tritium insert on the front sight looked just about the same size as the target's green center dot. I put the dot from the front sight right on the target's green dot. LOL, it is yards. This is a 25 yard indoor range and has big red lines across the floor every 5 yards with big numbers on the side wall notating the distance for each red line.

I'm a damn Yankee and will fight for the north. Although being from South Jersey I hate the Yankees, Giants, Rangers. Go Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, 76'ers!!

Nice shooting. I consider my PM9 to be very accurate but my targets at 7yd don't look that good.

I owe it all to my father. He was a "throw him in the deep end, he'll learn how the swim" kinda guy. The first time he ever took me shooting, he stuck a S&W snub nose .357 magnum in my hand and said, "point it that way and hold on tight!" After being 7 years old and learning on a 2.5 inch magnum, you can pretty much shoot anything. Except in my case an LCP. Spent a year and a half trying to shoot that thing and could never hit where I wanted. Needless to say, it is long gone.

Are you saying that first target has 50 shots on it at 15 yards? Just asking cause it looks more like a 6 +1 and 7 round mag target to me. If not you got a lot of through the exact same hole shots. Like about 35 or so. Very impressive love to see a video of that kind of shooting two hand stance at 45'.

I usually shoot a box per target. If it was 7 shots you see more like 4 or 5 smaller holes near each other. I don't have a video camera or anyone to take the video. But, I have targets similar to that quite frequently. Honestly, I'd like to see my hole smaller than that with 50 rounds.
