Does anybody use or like the Uncle Mike's Sidekick hip-holster? Do any of you guys use the size 1 for your CW9 or P9?

Ok, fine...

What hip-holster below $20 do you recommend (non-leather)?

I just wanted to know if someone uses Uncle Mike's for their CW9 or P9, what size?............that's all.;)

I have one that I used to use for my glock 19.But it's just a cheap holster the clip breaks and it is irritating when it rubs iwb at the 3 or 4 o'clock position.I went on to better things and bought a nice iwb leather don hume holster and a kydex leather hybrid holster.Another thing I dont like about them is the fact that the clip was so high on the holster it carried deep and was hard to get to in a hurry.Moral of the story is you get what you pay for.

I still use a Sidekick for the few time I carry my very old Beretta 21A in .22LR. It is a L/H model that I made up to clip inside the pants pocket when I would carry it. This package was put together along time ago, before pocket carry holsters could be found. The 21A was my "out walking the dog gun" as we connect to the river trails system at the end of my street. The most likely BG I expected back then was four legged and I seldom saw any other folks on my walks.
The biggest issue I ever had with the Sidekick happened after about 4 years of owning it. I stopped using the 21A regularly, unloaded it and with narry a thought holstered it. I zippered the compleat combo into a good gun rug. Over the course of a year the Beretta moved to the bottom of the pile in the safe. When at last I pulled it out to take to the range one day, I found a problem. The holster material had come off the inside of it and it was stuck, very firmly, to the bluing on the gun. I had a heck of a time cleaning it off without ruining the finish on the gun.
Perhaps the gun oil caused the holster material to fail like that? I also agree that the clip causes the holster/gun to ride low. That worked out fine for me for the way I used it, but be aware of the "ride" before you buy.
Have a good one.
