tuckable PJ holster...

I don't have a tuckable holster for my CW9 and am looking at the PJ. For those of you who have one is it pretty easy to conceal with shirt tucked and fluffed around the belt line? Is it comfey? do you like?

I'm thinking of going for the velcro clip for total concealment or the over the belt clip.

what ya think?

BTW I'm a thin dude 5' 10'' 160 lbs

It depends on your style of dress. Most seem to really like the but it is not comfy for me.

I have that has never been worn out of the closet that I'll make you a deal on.

I have a tuckable PJ IWB with velcro for my CM9. Just as unbelievably comfortable as the regular one. You won't find a thinner tuckable holster. Period.

Also, the velcro allows you to adjust the cant and ride height a tad. Nice!

I don't have the PJ but I highly recommend the Garrett silent thunder tuckable holster. Here is my EDC for the PM9.

Never had an IWB kydex. Is it comfortable against skin? I have a crossbreed, but it is such a large holster for a small gun......I have a CM9.

I don't think so, thus my purchase of the CM9 for pocket carry. I still carry my Bersa but mostly in a shoulder bag.

I find my Silent Thunders to be remarkably comfortable. I seldom wear them against the skin but occasionally. Much more comfortable than I thought they would be.

I always wear a T-shirt or vest when wearing my PJ IWB holsters. Others have said they find them comfortable and less sweat producing than leather on the skin. But a very simple enhancement would be to glue some mole skin on the back of the holster. Problem solved! :)

While the Silent Thunder is very sturdy and almost indestructible, it is thick and heavy. After purchasing my PJ, I found no reason to keep the ST and sold it. For me, the PJ is the best, most comfortable and functional holster I have ever used, by far. Furthermore since they are made to order, Paul will try to accommodate any modification or customization you might like. All for $40 shipped. You can't beat that!

Just wanted to say I understand why there's so much praise about this little holster. I received mine a few weeks ago and after trying it out I decided I needed a little higher ride height so I tried to do it myself with a blow dryer. After I got done, the clip looked like a marshmallow I just emailed Paul and sent it back with details about how I wanted the clip. When I got it back the changes were spot on and now it's very comfortable and the draw is much better with the higher ride height.
Is is more comfortable than my James Dean leather holster??...don't know about that, they are both about the same. I like the thinness of the PJ but the leather is softer and the draw is outstanding from the James Dean. They are both very easy to carry and now I have a small discreet tuckable option and I"ll probably use the PJ more in the sweltering heat of the summer mo's in south Louisiana so my leather holster doesn't get soaked with sweat.

Yeah, I have 4 PJ holsters and 3 James Dean holsters, and I like them all. Paul's touch with the Kydex is genius! And James Dean's hand stitched holsters in finest Herman Oak leather are works of art that I treasure! :D

I have a PJ holster for IWB (clip on type) and I really like it. It's my new favorite (just received it last week). I have a Desantis Nemesis that's so-so. I have used it as a tuckable in the waistband once. For strictly tuckable I use Crossbreed minituck and I have a Tucker Answer (for another pistol). The Tucker is a bit bulky and gets very little use. Paul makes great stuff. I also have a CTAC for another pistol and that one is very easy to tuck. For reference, I am about your size - 5'-11" and 165lbs.
