MO gun buyer/seller requirements

I live in MO and was wondering if anyone could tell me what requirements there are regarding sales and trades of guns between private individuals....

Nothing needed for sales between Missouri residents. However, unless you know the person well, it's a good idea to ask for a copy of their drivers license or take a picture of it with your cell phone. Sales across state lines need to go through a dealer for a NICS check.

Agreed on the ID copy. Also if they have a CCW, all the better as you know they have been checked out at least when it was last renewed.
