My slide release and extractor assembly had become quite polished and just looked worn compared to the nice silky smooth finish of the slide.
Replaced the slide release and extractor assembly.
Tested tension on extractor.
Went to the range and surprised the heck out of me when I was getting 1" groups at 21'.
Nice....... :)

I think the slide release is a tighter fit and locks up the barrel a bit better.
Therefore a bit more accurate.
I was impressed.

How many rounds had been put through it prior to these replacements?

a little over 20,000.

Had the frame replaced just recently as well. The slide bar on the inside right side of the frame cracked off. Free repair, but then it just made the slide release and extractor claw look very weird. They had the most wear and looked polished.

with 32K out of my PM9 it shoots about the same as day 1. I realy cannot see anywear. certainly IMO not enough to effect myaccu7racy at 7 yards. 1" group at 7 yards is commendable, could aslo be the shooter is getting much better to.

I've transferred a lot of little things I've learned on my 1911s to the Kahr and does seem to make a difference.
Grip for one.
But this pistol never shot quite that well before. It could also be the new frame. Without that slide thingy being screwed up, it could make the difference.
