For those of you with a PM9 or CM9, when you push down the top round in a full magazine, does it pop back up or stay parallel to the round below?

Make sure the top round is seated all the way to the rear of the magazine.

Mine conform to the angle of the feed lips.

It "pops back up" on an angle to load easily. They shouldn't stay level with the one below it in the mag. Love those little pistols, a real piece of quality work. Take care and be safe.

I have only had one Kahr magazine that has failed to properly pop the top round up to match the angle of the feed lips. It did NOT work well in the gun, failing to feed consistently. It was the longer magazine of the two that came with the gun. I had already purchased several flush mags and was not planning to use the longer one anyway, so I just set it aside.

Eventually, I got around to opening up the clearances in the front of the magazine tube to eliminate the interference that was preventing the round from popping up. It now works just fine.

I like to tinker. In retrospect, it would have been smarter to just contact Kahr and return it for a replacement or perhaps swap it for a flush fit magazine, which Kahr is usually willing to do.

YMMV . . . best of luck!

Pops back up. Feeds fine. No problems.

Shot another 100 rounds last night. Now up to 1,200 rounds in the two months since I bought the gun.

CM9 had problems initially, but now works fine. Now the problem is, I'm not sure I can afford this much fun.

My top round will stay in whatever position I set it. If I raise it up, it stays. Set it level with the round below, it stays. It seems that the only contact point between the feed lips and the casing is right at the extractor ring (pivot point).

That said, the CM9 doesn't seem to have an issue feeding rounds.
