I just picked up my first Kahr, a CM9. I know the PM9 has polygonal rifling and the CM9 has conventional. I assume shooting lead is ok. Just wanted to ask here for clarification. Thanks

Lead will be ok in the conventional barrel....it's generally a no-no in the polygonal.

Works GREAT in mine. It was this "concern" I've heard expressed about shooting cast bullets in the PM that made my choice of the CM an easy one. I don't know if the concerns are real or not...but I figured why take a chance...??? I've been shooting cast bullets since I was a kid, and Eisenhower was President. The LAST THING I wanted to do was find myself owning a handgun they won't work well in.

My CM9 has had a diet of ~75% 125gr lead. It works great. :)
