Any other hockey fans here? Anyone watching the NHL playoffs?
BIG Flyers fan - I even flew to Philly earlier this year for the annual Flyers carnival. Managed to get autographs from Giroux, Jagr, Simmonds, Talbot, Bryz and Timonen...
Glad the Flyers have made it to the second round. Hopefully they can beat the devils.

Been a BIG TIME hockey fan since I was a kid. Never got to play organized because our school was too small, and out in the boondocks of MI. We played all the time out on White Lake, almost every weekend. I was a big Red Wings fan for a loooong time. When I moved to TN I continued support for the wings until Nashville got the Predators. Ever since I've been totally supporting the Preds. I watch every game I can (which is almost all of them because I have the NHL Center Ice on Directv. If The Preds aren't playing, I'm always watching a game! Game 1 is tonight against Phoenix....can't wait....GO PREDS!!

Hey Hockey fans...What's your take on this? Looks like a good clean hit on a kid with his head down to me but a sort of predictable response from the Socialist State of MA.

I used to like the Pens. However, after game 3 of the Flyers/Pens series, I lost all respect I had for Crosby.

Lived in Philly most of my life. Still live not to far away. Been a Flyers Fan since 1970. Should be a good series coming up With the devils. Crosby sure showed his true colors didn't he in the first round. I never knew he was such a punk.

We have no NHL team here in Oregon, but we have the Winterhawks WHL Junior Hockey Team in Portland. Season and playoff ticket holder. Just watched them sweep Tri-Cities last night to make it to the WHL finals for the second straight year. Very good quality hockey. Portland has a lot of very skilled players. 8 of their players have already been drafted to NHL teams. Wish we had an NHL team here, but until we do, I'll have to keep rooting for my two favs, Red Wings and Rangers. Sorry Philly phans. Fun to see Jagr heat up for the playoffs though. I always cheer for the old guys.

Preds fan here. My business partners and I bought a suite for the rest of the year about a month ago. I think we chose the right year for that purchase :)
Going to be there for every home game.

Flyers win it today :)

But honestly, they should have played better. Bryz let 3 goals in, but he was probably one of the best Flyers players today...

My wife and I are Flyer's fans as well. We haven't watched many games over the last several years since switching to Directv, but have been enjoying the playoffs. Lots of new names to learn, of course. :)
What happened to Leclair and Recchi? Haha! That should help you other fans date my hiatus from watching. It's good to be back!

Love hockey. Been a fan since about '96-97. Haven't kept up with this season much though, too much going on. Who'd a thought hockey in TX? It's big here and getting bigger. Last winter the local news had a bunch of pictures of kids making their own skate ponds and tooling up when it got cold here. That's when you know the sport has arrived.
Another Pens fan here. Can't help but notice all the Pens former players that make up the other teams.......
Used to laugh while listening to all the Jagr hateing from Philly when he was a Penguin. When the Flyers pick Crosby up, all this will be forgotten.

Talbot is another former penguin on the Flyers
There is a long list of former Penguins turned Flyers.
