We engraved this K9 for downtownv. It's a tribute to 9-11.
The shield says "Remember"
and the Japanese writing on the grips means "fire breathing dragon"
We just engraved the slide but what a beautiful gun with lots of meaning...

We can also do something to your gun if your interested. PM me

I love my K9's rubber grips, but those wood grips kinda turn me on.

The engraving looks great!

Impressive. I may think about my P45 like that. S/N xx2001 funny how things work like that. Then again, I know what I was doing in those years. I'm surprised my unit didn't get deployed until much later.

Very nicely done. I'm not sure how I feel about the multicultural symbolism, Twin towers, American flag, Lady Liberty, then a Japanese (?) character for fire breathing dragon?
My opinion only, but I'd be swapping out the grip to something in line with the rest of the theme.

That thought didn't occur to me but it's a good point.

I got a plan already brewing in my head. Wonder if early K40 and early K9 frames are the same? Anybody know for sure.

I can see a nice Flag inlaid in some Coco Bolo or maybe Ebony hanging on that.

What do ya think downtown?

I like that one too. Maybe even better.

Where's downtown, I feel like we're taking indecent or perhaps more accurately decent liberties with his gun here.

I have the std black grips. Love the feel of the wood it's my Carry piece. But yes the black does make sense for the look....

Jocko, you don't want that gun, it has my cocking cam in it now...

This really is artwork with a bullet inside it. Beautiful piece. Steve
