Finally! got to the range today with my new CM9, since I have to qual with it on Monday. I shot 100 rounds 124/115 fmj, 50 rounds of Ranger NATO, 30 rounds of Ranger 147 bonded and a little 124 HST. Shot ok with such a small light gun. I had the slide lock back twice to where I had to strip the mag and reload. It feels like the weapon likes to reload from the slide forward and not from the lock back position? Does that make sense? thanks for any insights....

check ur thumb to besureit is not hitting that slide lock lever, also check those 147 grainers to seeif by chance they cold be hittingon the inside of the slide locklever kand pre engaging the slide lock lever, very easy to test out. read the kahr tech secion under propper prepping of ur new kahr. Theslide lockig back IMO would be one of those two things happening...

Usng the slide release lever is what kahr recommends but if u can hand rack properly and have no issues, go for it.

thank you sir, I read the prep and did my best to lube it correctly. I will check the 147s as I do not remember what was in the mag when it locked back. I will also check my thumb placement as I had the same issue on my XDsc. Nice shooter so I hope to get it all togther so it can ride on my vest for years to come :)
