Looks like Colt is getting knocked down a peg.

Colt still supplies a lot of weapons. FNH is still on the scene. HK is bringing on a new SAW as well as their usual special ops goodies, Beretta pumping out M9s. Sig fills in some holes. The U.S. military uses some outstanding small arms

I wonder if that will free up Colt to start building some Pythons and Anacondas and other popular pistols of the past again? That would be sweet.

Someone from Colt was on Tom Gresham's radio program and said that they destroyed all of their revolver machinery and it's not possible to build them in the same manner anymore. Very sad indeed.

I wouldn't expect Colt to build them the way that they used to. If anything they should build them with modern CNC equipment.

Nice to see a branch of the military actually trying to SAVE money. Colt M4's were $1200ish compared to Remington stating $600ish each. Hopefully, quality will not diminsish with the price.

I do not think that the Colt name on a M4 would be worth $600.00 above the Remington. If anything Remington will take extra precautions to make sure their product is top notch to keep the contract going.
