I'd like to add a rubber grip to my PM9. I've researched a little bit on the rubber Kahr Decal Grip and rubber Talon Grip. Both seem to have equal advantages. Not really interested in other options. In all likelihood it'll be one of these two. Anybody have insight to share on either one? My main concern is peeling of the grip, especially around the sharp edges.

My comparison is kinda apples to oranges, but here goes. I bought the decal grip for a G19 and the talon for a PM9. From my experience, both seem to stay on pretty well, but the talon wraps completely around while the decal grip is only side panels and a few smaller sections to apply here and there. I like the talon better, because I can get a better purchase with the material on the front and backstrap.

I like the Talon Grip better also. Good quality, wraps all the way around and great CS. Today I had a less than pleasant experience with a KAHR CS person.

I have the Talon rubber grips on my PM9. They were easy to install and I like them a lot. Never tried the Kahr's.

+2 on the Rubberized Talons. I have them on my cm9 and cw9 and like them.

I wonder if the Talon for the CW9 would work on my CW45. I know it'a a little wider, but still think it can be trimmed to fit.

I must be the only one who likes the stock Kahr grip on my CM9. I thought about getting Talon Rubberized for it, but after shooting it a bunch I decided to leave it alone. I do have them for my *cough* PF9, but haven't put them on yet and don't know if I will since its getting some Cerakote and I don't know if I want to mess with that.

Does anyone have concealed carry experience with the Talon granular grip? The granular grip seems to allow a better purchase on the grip but at the cost of comfortable carry against the skin in an IWB holster. The rubber grip seems to provide a slightly better grip and be more comfortable to concealed carry against the skin IWB than either the granular grip or no grip at all. It's a tale of two textures I guess.

God bless

Put the rubber Talons on today. I haven't shot with it yet, but as long as they stay stuck on and solid I'm sure that I'll like them.

I had rubber talon grips on my CM9 and carried it IWB for months without any issues with them.

They were fantastic!

The idea of an applique type grip never appealed to me... until a friend of mine insisted I try a Talon rubberized grip on my Glock 26. Really liked the feel and the look of the grip. That's all it took to make me a believer! Now I have Talons on most all my handguns (including my Kahrs). Good stuff.

The granular talon grips are the way to go. It allows IMO the best purchase on the gun. It feels liek the gun is GLUED into your hand. Its not slipping out.
The Sig SP2022 comes stock with this type of grip and its what made me realize I'd like that type of grip way better than a rubber grip.

I have used both on my Glocks, if you carry IWB don't get the granular grips go with the rubber, they are not comfortable for IWB carry. If you carry OWB the granular does offer a better purchase on the gun, but the rubber is my favorite of the two.

I love the Talon granular (sandpaper type) grips. They give super hold in all conditions. I haven't tried the rubberized but I'm sure they are nice.

After trying both, I vote Talon. :)

The granular is going to rub your skin and clothing. I'd go rubber for carry.
