I only had two problems with my brand new CW9 today when firing it for the first time. The first was that I did not bring enough ammo and the second was that I "had" to let other people shoot it too. Other than that it was incredible I can't wait until i get to shoot it again, and until i save up enough money for another Kahr.

:)

I guess if you're going to have problems, those aren't too bad... except if the others that you "had" to let shoot were shooting your "low supply" of ammo and not their own! That is kind of a double whammy!

Good luck with your new pistol. I have had mine for quite a while and just love to shoot it!

I think most newer guns are certified for +P ammunition. Not exactly sure.

to my knowledge all kahrs are rated at +P. so just shoot it like u stole it, u can'thurt a kahr by shootng it. don't ask me how I know2 that!! Just sayin.

I bought 200 rounds with my CW9 because I knew that was what the manual said was the break in for the pistol. I shot all 200 my first outing. Fun gun.:yo:

i should have done that unfortunately i am a college student it took me a while to save up the money for the weapon and i could only afford a box of 50 when it was all said and done

The manual says to fire 200 rounds to break it in but I never had a problem firing my CW40 from round one. I have fired over 500 rounds through it and it is now just starting to "loosen" up a bit. I can slingshot the slide fairly easily now. Maybe another 500 rounds before it's super easy? We'll see I guess, just need more money for more ammo!

We've all been there. Congrats on the new Kahr, they are fantastic handguns. Enjoy! :)
